Liz Allan
is an artist and writer, who makes, most recently, experimental video and whose palette extends to words, in print, via subtitles, and by way of voice. Her attention to authorial representation within new documentary traditions delineates a fascination with selves that are formed at the meeting points between subjectivities, in and out of their contexts. Born and raised in Aotearoa New Zealand, Liz lives and works in Rotterdam, is also a member of the queer art collaboration All the Cunning Stunts and co-editor of the art publication. A Recent Writing. Liz Allan writes semi-fictional scenarios for art publications and art spaces.
