“CROSSING” generates tools to face the challenging borderline situations of our time without panic. The approach to the topic of border crossing is through the experience of the material of wax skin, embodying the quality of the ‘membranous’. In the Painting-installation we can engage with the process of transition, of in-between. The project revolves around the question: How can we overcome superfluous boundaries and at the same time create necessary protective spaces in order to become truly viable in connection?
