Kalinda’s Vary’s new works explore the ways we passively receive and interpret information from the world around us, with particular focus on sight and sound. I will be exploring the slippage between hearing and listening, the in-exact nature of languages (visual, verbal, written) and the impossibility of presence by utilizing telephone calls, iPhone footage and painting.
