Yellow Brick presents STEP 29 | A liaison to a life no longer ordered from above, a project by Clara J:son Borg in collaboration with artists and dancers Aris Papadopoulos, Christina Karagianni, Stella Dimitrakopoulou, Aspasia Giannoulaki, Markella Ksilogiannopoulou, Christos Fousekis.
For four weeks the group has been investigating notions of the urban area based on the phenomenological idea that each individual carries a pre-knowledge of the subject they are investigating. Through sharing experiences of urban life, theoretical discussion of posthuman urbanism and movement practices, they have been aiming to move knowledge around to enable for something new to occur. The result of the research has further been worked into a screenplay for a video about visibility, urban goddesses and friendship. The first cut of the video was shown at Yellow Brick in July 2021.

is a Swedish artist based in Rotterdam (NL). Her artistic practice is directed towards ontologies surrounding the human body, it’s performance strategies and political subject. By a non-representational movement practice and speech acts, she lets her works exist within a boundary area where human vulnerability intersects with political and social forces. She understands her work as an invitation to observe elements of interhuman relationships, social choreographies and knowledge hierarchies.
